Patchwork (Quilting) lots of tips, tricks, technique and nice atmosphere
Nørgaards HøjskoleQuilting is an old technique where you sew fabric scraps and worn clothing together into larger pieces, e.g. carpets and tablecloths. The fabric patches are typically cut into various geometric shapes such as squares and rhombuses before being sewn together in decorative patterns. Everyone can join, both beginners and experienced.
The course includes a sewing kit, which is included in the teaching.
Tips, tricks and technique
Various techniques are reviewed, e.g., different ways to sew blocks, fun with rulers, how to finish a quilt (quilt and binding), paper piecing, appliqué. The work will mainly be machine sewing, but at a level that suits you.
