A scandinavian way of studying abroad - freedom to create your own schedule

Rønshoved Højskole

Do you dream of a stay where you aren't tied to one major, but can create your own schedule with philosophy, creativity, movement, Danish language, and the great outdoors?

Our school is a home where teachers and students live side by side in a unique community. There is room here for both serious discussions and spontaneous joy.

Forget about fixed tracks and exam pressure. Here, you choose your own subjects - from philosophy, piano and kayaking to ceramics, photography, yoga, and psychology. Imagine diving into these subjects all while surrounded by the folk high school community that provides calm surroundings and space to reconnect with who you are.

When the spirit of adventure strikes, we leave the routine behind and set out on journeys of discovery. Picture yourself in the middle of a Florentine square, being in the midst of the hyper-modern Tokyo, or wandering across borders in the heart of Europe. This is where you broaden your perspective and make memories that last forever.

The school is situated right on the shores of Flensburg Fjord - where forest meets the fjord, and the world opens up right outside our door. We are located in the Danish-German borderlands, a place where cultures intertwine and history is ever-present. Here, you can breathe deeply and embrace the new adventures waiting just around the corner.
