International Ball Room Dance
Højskolen SnoghøjThis year, we'll explore European and American ballroom dances from the period of the 19th and 20th century. In the begining of the 19th century new styles started to emerge in the ballrooms across Europe such as Françaiser and big quadrills. Later in the century the ballrooms were dominated by even bigger and greater quadrilles: Les Lanciers and Le Prince Imperial. Together we will explore these beautiful dancess guided by Stuart Marsden (UK), Jørgen Schou-Petersen, Annette Thomsen and Per Sørensen (DK). The Danish Qudrille Trio will deliver the music during the week and to the final galla party at the beautiful, historical hotel Harmonien in Haderslev.
