Roskilde Festival HøjskoleThis week is all about one thing: writing songs. With Christian Hjelm as your instructor, you're in safe songwriting hands.
We'll create a supportive space where you can explore your creativity and share ideas with us and each other. A space that celebrates individuality and the many different ways the same core idea can evolve. At its heart, songwriting is about letting go, embracing failure, and having the courage to stay true to yourself and create what you believe in.
A songwriter's greatest obstacle is often themselves—and that's where we come in. Throughout the week, you'll have plenty of creative freedom within a framework of exercises and creative constraints.
You'll learn to trust your intuition, unleash your inner child, embrace the freedom of creating, and ultimately write some great songs.
