At Askov Residental Folk High School the aim is to develope and influence culture both locally and globally. The school is for adult students and offers an engaging atmosphere, a folk high school tradition that goes back to 1865, and an active approach to the way in which society developes.
The school programme includes general folk-high-school courses consisting of 12-24 weeks.
Teaching is concentrated around different main lines of study.
There are lines in journalism, film and writing, as well as a number of optional subjects in arts and crafts, music etc.
Finally, for people from outside the country, there are courses about the language and culture of Denmark.
In other words, here is a residental folk high school open to almost everyone.
Askov Residental Folk High School is also able to offer tailormade courses to meet the particular needs of companies, and many one-week courses are held throughout the year.
The school can accomodate over 300 guests and is well known
for the large meetings, conferences and seminars it hosts.
