We have to draw what we see, and we have to draw with different materials and techniques.
In classical drawing, you typically go for it with the aim of training our perception of outline, space, proportions, light/shadow and the whole. When we learn to perceive all these things, we become very good at drawing things as they appear. But you can also train your perception of these things, through a slightly more fun and less slavish approach to drawing.
Our goal is to get better at drawing, and we will practice perceiving the different things, through a more playful, fast and expressive approach. We have to do many different exercises.
