About the school
In the middle of Almindingen, Bornholms Højskole is located in a wonderful mix of forest, fields and cliffs. But with its flat red and white buildings, the school casts light and warmth into nature, and on the school's shelter site with a fire cabin, you can let yourself be surrounded by the lush nature in the more distant parts of the natural areas of the school.
With only 10-15 km to beaches, rocky coasts and Bornholm's beautiful harbor towns, the school is centrally located for pleasant and spectacular trips.
At Bornholms Højskole, you get time for your subjects, for your many new friends, for using your physical strength, for thoughtfulness, for fun and enjoyment, for ingenuity and for nature. You will have time to immerse yourself in the clay, in the glass, in the visual arts, in the silver, in the body, in the sustainable entrepreneurship of agriculture and for outdoor adventure life.

LANG STAYS (16 fall or 24 weeks spring) :
At Bornholms Højskole, you can freely choose between more than 15 different subjects across the four A-subject fields that the teaching is divided into. In addition to the four fields, we have other subjects and courses, as well as subjects of interest, which are created according to student wishes .
Practical information
You will live with other students in houses or rooms. The college offers 41 single rooms and 26 double rooms, of which 11 are double rooms with bath/toilet.

The school has a ceramics workshop, a glass workshop, a jewelery workshop, a fine art studio, graphics workshop, large kitchen, rehearsal room and a brand new music room with mixing room.
The journey to Bornholm
You can book a ferry incl. bus at Kombardo or take rute700 which stops in Aakirkeby.
You can order plane tickets at DAT.dk Use Rejseplanen for the transport options from Rønne to the college or BAT our local bus company.
Pupils on long stays are picked up at the ferry terminal in Rønne, at the airport or in Aakirkeby.
