Egaa Youth Folk High School

Folk High School for Young People Egå Youth Folk High School is a folk high school for young people aged 16–19 who want to discover something new about themselves and others in a free environment. We have no exams, homework, grades, or traditional academic subjects like physics and mathematics. Instead, we offer more than 30 different subjects within sustainability, photography, esports, sports, art, theatre, design, music, film, crafts, psychology, and society. You are free to choose your own subjects. You can stay for either a full year or half a year—it’s up to you. Freedom to Be Yourself At EUH you will experience great freedom to pursue your interests and to be yourself. Of course, with freedom comes responsibility, which you will learn to take on and grow with. For example, we start later in the day, with classes beginning at 10 a.m. This means there is no fixed bedtime—you decide when to go to bed so that you are rested for the next day. We are experts in teenagers and well-being, and we know what it takes to help you open your eyes to the wonders of life. Meet the World in Egå We have students from all over Denmark and from all over the world. Each semester, we welcome about 25 international students, giving you the chance to make friends from every corner of the globe. We love learning about their cultures and gaining new perspectives on the world.
