Ryslinge Højskole

In the autumn at Ryslinge Folk High School you can immerse yourself in acting - both on stage and in front of the camera.  The semester begins with the Dramatic Immersion course, where you will be introduced to different approaches to the actor´s craft - techniques and methods you can use o build your own personal toolbox. You will work in small groups to ensure that you get the most out of the teaching.  The course is followed by an intensive Film acting module, where you will explore the particular expression of screen acting - the subtle nuances, presence and authenticity it requires.  In October we hold a workshop-week with three different sneak-peaks into the coming spring courses, and after that Elective Weeks. You can fx choose to do writing for the scene, choir or somthing completely different, as outdoor life or visual arts. The possibilities will be announced in the beginning of the semester.  In November we all gather for the Collective Theatre Project. We create a performance that we take on tour at the beginning of December. Finally we slow down with christmas cozyness and outro acitivities, before saying goodbye.   Autumn also brings inspiring visits, artistic experiences, and democratic discussions—and, not least, a meaningful daily life where you and your fellow students create a shared environment that supports growth and development.
