Songwriting

Roskilde Festival Højskole

This week, we’ll write songs. Simple as that – and sometimes surprisingly difficult. Luckily, you’re in safe hands with Christian Hjelm, who guides you through the creative chaos of songwriting and helps bring your ideas from your head into music.

Songwriting is about opening up, trusting your intuition and making room for emotions. We’ll let our inner child play and explore what happens when we dare to experiment with music and words.

Along the way, we’ll bring your songs to life and find the courage to share them. It’s not about performing perfectly, but about standing by what you’ve created.

Bring your ideas as they are. Leave with new songs, new experiences and greater confidence in your creativity.
