About the school

A semester at Krabbesholm is a tour de force in Architecture, Design, Visual Communication and Art through experiments, lectures, discussions, workshops, exhibitions, parties, excursions, concerts, conversations, swimming in the fjord, walks in the forest, delicious food and much, much more.

Krabbesholm is avant-garde, freedom and punk. Rebellion, passion and commitment. Here you can explore your creative abilities, immerse yourself in creative processes and find inspiration in the community. You develop new skills and can pursue your passion within the creative world in an environment full of like-minded people.

We have four main subjects: Art, Architecture, Design and Visual Communication, as well as several workshops where digital and analogue tools are in play, e.g. video, photography, screen printing, ceramics, textiles, sound and wood.

After a semester at Krabbesholm, many of our students go on to art academies, architecture schools and design schools in Denmark and abroad. We therefore have a special focus on portfolios and entrance exams in our teaching.

Whether you are already interested in the creative subjects or would like to explore them, you can participate in the classes - we do not require specific prerequisites, and everyone is welcome.
