About the school

Imagine a school on top of a mountain, next to a forest. On the horizon you see a river meandering and the historic Bohus Fortress. That's how it is at Nordiska – a professional and personal adventure in breathtaking Swedish nature.

Nordiska folkhögskolan is a meeting place for art and culture in the Nordics. Our students come from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and other Nordic countries. Here we meet across borders.

You and your fellow students work together on artistic projects. It creates a creative and engaging environment at the school.
