Practical information
FOLK HIGH SCHOOL LIFE IS ABOUT EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN, TOO
Getting better at your sport feels great. But it’s all the other moments in everyday life that you remember, too.
At Aalborg Sportshøjskole, you’ll meet people with different interests and backgrounds. Some are passionate about training and performance. Others love the outdoors, creative projects, or simply spending time with other people. And that mix is exactly what makes life so exciting here at Aalborg Sportshøjskole.
IN THE HEART OF AALBORG
Our school is located in the heart of Aalborg, so cafés, shopping, cultural experiences, and everything else the city has to offer are never far away. If you’re more in the mood for fresh air and being out on the water, Limfjorden, Kabelparken, and Vestre Fjordpark are all nearby. And when the weather allows, we head to west coast, where the conditions are perfect for surfing.
YOUR OWN APARTMENT – WITH ROOM FOR YOU AND YOUR ROOMMATES
When you live at Aalborg Sportshøjskole, you’ll have your own student apartment shared with up to three roommates. You’ll have your own bathroom and a kitchenette with a fridge, making everyday life feel a little more like home.
Meals are a regular part of everyday life, and the dining hall quickly becomes a natural meeting point. We gather here for meals and during our free time, including when we party at the school.
