Autumn 27 - acting training.
Ryslinge HøjskoleYou should choose the autumn semester at Ryslinge Folk High School if you want to dive deep into working with acting – both on stage and in front of the camera.
The semester starts at the beginning of August and ends at Christmas, and here there’s really time to immerse yourself. You’ll get to explore different approaches to acting in depth in the courses on dramatic immersion and film, so you’ll be strong and well-prepared when we later come together for the autumn’s joint theater project and the subsequent tour.
During the semester, there are also weeks where we break the daily routine with shorter projects and workshops, including performances at the local Midtfyn Festival, a workshop in contact improvisation, and not least elective weeks, where you can choose to focus on preparing auditions – or immerse yourself in something completely different, like dramatic writing, singing, outdoor life, or visual arts.
The autumn also offers inspiring visits, artistic experiences, and democratic discussions. and – not least – the meaningful, everyday life, where you together create a daily routine you can grow and develop in. So as the darkness closes in, the sweaters come out, and Christmas approaches, work and cozy moments continue here at the old school.
