Ryslinge Højskole

Spring at Ryslinge Højskole is the year's longest semester. It lasts 24 weeks – from early January to late June. Spring is packed with exciting courses. It starts with a few weeks of common basic training before the class splits into different tracks for a long period of immersion leading up to the annual theater festival. The tracks can vary from year to year, but in spring 2027, you can choose between film acting, text and character, and improvisation. So spring is both full of deep focus and long, challenging stretches, but also shorter courses where we throw everything up in the air and go all out together. Where we focus on creativity. What have you learned, and how can you put it into practice with others? We go to Heartland Festival for site-specific performances and create our own devised show at The Royal Theatre. The semester also includes inspiring visits, artistic experiences, and democratic discussions, and – not least – the meaningful everyday you can grow and develop in. So while spring is sprouting outside, you grow through work and time with your friends and can bloom fully when summer comes. Come as you are - leave as you became. We still have space for you.
